Legal
Acceptable use policy
Effective 2026-09-03. sharehtml.org hosts HTML files as-is. That freedom ends where the content harms someone. This page lists what we remove.
Prohibited content
- Anything illegal in India or in the uploader's country.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, fake login pages, and impersonation of any person, brand or organisation.
- Malware, droppers, remote-access tools, exploit kits, and "ClickFix" style pages that trick visitors into running commands.
- Fraud, financial scams, fake invoices, crypto drainers and wallet-approval traps.
- Spam, doorway pages, and pages that exist only to manipulate search engines.
- Child sexual abuse material and any sexual content involving minors.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including synthetic imagery of real people.
- Harassment, threats, doxxing and incitement to violence.
- Collecting personal data from visitors without their informed consent.
- Content that disrupts networks or devices: crypto miners, denial-of-service tooling, browser lockers.
- Copyright or trademark infringement, including hosting others' paid content.
- Hidden redirects, cloaked content, or pages designed to deceive automated or human review.
How enforcement works
- Every upload is scanned automatically by heuristics. Suspicious pages are held for review before anyone can see them.
- Pages may be removed without notice. Removed pages return 410 Gone; their content hash is blocked from re-upload.
- Repeat uploads of removed content lead to a ban of the source: the account, the IP hash, or both.
- Legal orders lead to a 451 block. Timelines are on legal.
- Pro published pages that are flagged are reverted to noindex and dropped from the sitemap.
Reporting
Anyone can report a page at /report. Every page also carries an X-Report-Abuse header pointing there. Email: abuse@sharehtml.org. Copyright notices go to dmca@sharehtml.org.
Things that are allowed
- Pages that use external scripts, fonts, images and CDNs.
- Pages that use localStorage or service workers on their own origin.
- Prototypes, demos, reports, slide decks, games, portfolios, landing pages.
- Password fields on a page that is clearly your own product and does not imitate anyone else's.
